Amanda Ellard is currently a PhD in Creative Writing candidate and writing teacher at Ohio University. With a background in Japanese language and culture studies, she went on to achieve an MA in Folklore Studies and an MFA in Creative Writing. A multimedia artist, Amanda works as an editor for three literary journals and writes for the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage’s Folklife Magazine.
