Ōtautahi-born Averil Robertson is a technical writer and editor living in Naarm, Australia. Her short stories have been highly commended in various competitions, and her flash fiction has been shortlisted in the Australian Writers’ Centre Furious Fiction competition. Her short story ‘Motutaratahi’, which forms the base of her first novel, was published in the Forty South Anthology 2023.
