This year, Simon Brown entered the youth competition for the last time; in 2020 he’ll enter the adult competition for the first time. Each year he has entered, his stories have placed in the competition. We asked him about his writing experience and his studies at Victoria University Wellington.
Flash Frontier: You have entered the youth competition since it began and have placed each year – both long-listed and short-listed. Do you think your writing has changed since you first began writing short fiction?
